In my bag

Hello guys, long time no seen. I´m such a busy girl right now. I´m loving my life as it is. I´m having all the energy to study, workout, cook and travel and it feels good. I love that there is not pitch black anymore when I wake up and I´m starting to wake up at 8 am in my own... :D I love this light and the sun! It only makes me happy. :) I had my birthday last week, so I´m officially 22 years old girl now and I had maybe one of the best birthdays ever :) I will tell about it a bit later :) I really have so many dreams to come true so I have to start working on them at this very moment... :) First I´m going to make myself a mango chicken- pasta with a tomato sallad and a honey limunada (limunada is lemon + water, but instead of the white sugar I use honey :) )! It´s one of the most healthy Bosnian drinks on this planet :)  Have a great day guys!

Let's have a look in my bag... I decided not to carry a First Aid pack with me anymore... :D I did carry it for many years... :D I think it´s a good way to have a little one in a bag if you are not going to a place that has them (in Finland shopping malls, Uni, gym etc) but if I´m going somewhere else, walking somewhere at a night time or just home- I wan´t to be able to help myself or someone else. It´s a really good thing to own and make sure that the meds are not old, you have enough bandages and the desinfectant bottle is not empty.

Yes, all this and my school stuff if I´m going to the Uni. Do you notice what´s missing? My protein bar, water bottle and a phone! I never keep it in my bag, because I walk around with my phone in my hands or in my pocket/glove. :D

My calendar, keyes, wallet that has everything in it, buss card for the cold days, little mirror, a lock, memory card, Aco CanolaOil hand cream, pens, rubber, lip balm Melem (it´s not only for lips), iPod and head phones, stuff for my hair and hankies :)

Some of my make up, The Body Shop's hand cleanse gel and a deodorant, Läkerol Dents xylitol pastilles and some Eloveena oats! Usually I carry a  water bottle and a protein bar with me but the one I had for today is already gone... :) If the day is super long I take a little extra lunch box with me + I eat at school. This is the best way of having something healthy with you all the time! :) I usually have fruits ans veges, ray bread and cottage cheese in it. :)

how to make a "fan-bun"

We got a request to make a post about how to make the bun that Herminica was wearing on our last travelling -post. It's very easy and cute look, especially for summer (I personally don't like messy kind of a hairstyles for winter, so I would wear this only for summer). It's very easy and quick to do. So just follow the next steps, if you liked the bun and want to recreate it :).

The more texture you have in your hair, the easier this bun is to create. Forget the sleek and healthy looking hair and let it look dry and messy!

1. Tease your hair until it looks like one big messy ball. If your hair is naturally curly and thick you might be able to skip this part. For example for H this part is unnecessary.

2. Pull your hair high up on a regular bun.

3. Take the sides of your bun and pull your hair downwards and create a fan of your hair.

4. Pin the sides of the fan with some hairpins. This is why we teased the hair in the beginning. If there is not enough texture, you hair won't want to stay like this and there would be break ups.

DONE!

Have a nice week end everyone!

Facepalm

My bambi bag is from Monki , and this Bambi mug is Iittala's :)

Good evening from us, I haven´t still went to bed even if I'm planning to hit the gym tomorrow morning and school after that. Tomorrow is the day I´m going to Mikkeli again too. I haven´t been there for two weeks now and it kinda feels like an eternity? :D Why is that? I will work two morning shifts too and spend my evenings with my family. I haven´t worked since the Christmas eve, so the money I´m getting from these shifts will be much needed! :D Too bad that I won´t get it before my birthday :(! I still can´t fully understand that I will be 22 years next Thursday... :D How fast are these years passing by! I would like to stop it sometimes! :D I´m so lucky that I´m not one of those 22 years old that are already living like their youth has passed by! I think that keeping that inner child and it's imagination alive and the smile on your face are the main keys to that! :) That´s something I will remember on my every birthday... :) When I feel and live like this, I won't be old and boring... :) Becoming boring and not having the courage to dream and do spontaneous things are maybe one of the biggest fears I have- not that I think I could become such a person, because I´m still like a little puppy or a kitten... You should see me the way the closest people see... Having this hot chocolate with my bag is no exception... We can talk to each others... :D That´s a cool Bambi-dude! As my bf said- if I would be on that popular Iholla Tv-show my part would be from another planet every now and then... Just the way children in our nursery school thought of me ans my sisters when they didn´t know where Bosnia was... They thought it was in Mars... :) haha :D Maybe I really am... Even this entire post deserves one big facepalm :D

EUROTRIP 2012 - PART 9 - Second trip to Mostar 2/2

The Mostar Bridge!

Tired girls! It was still too early to be awake, but Mostar was worth it!

Something delicious for the train trip:)

Finally!

The most beautiful place

Breakfast place!

E making a cutest bun ever.

Happier when having the hair up!

You can see what the war has done even there

Traditionally bosnian :)

Shopping some souvenirs.

Eating after swimming!

E was always running to get out of the sun, because of the heat.

cooling down under a waterfall

Us reading about Mostars' history.

This bird was really awesome! Look at that egg too!

We were making the "it's so damn cold" -faces.

The best thing you can do in your life is to swim in Neretva!

Because our last trip was so short and we really fell in love with the place once again- we decided to make another trip to Mostar. You can read about the previous one by clicking THIS. We made sure that we woke up early (too early), made a good and quick breakfast and then packed just the items we would need: camera, phones, keys, bikinis, food and water and some extra money. The cab (Company called "Crveni taxi" is the cheapest and their drivers are nice + they don´t charge extra for your luggage!) arrived fast and took us to the train station.  Travelling there was a bit exciting because the forest fires were all over Southern Europe- and Bosnia was no  exception). Though we were all still very tired, the views kept us awake and entertained. We could see the flames on the mountains and the smoke was so thick that you couldn't see the blue sky... The sun was still shining and you can only imagine how hot it was to be in the hottest city in Europe while the fires and the aerosols were only making the heat worse... +50 degs it was! :D

When we arrived we went to change our bikinis on and then to this nice place to have a late breakfast, another one that day :D. We decided to order sweet pancakes and buy some fresh fruits from the local square. Then we wanted to something refreshing... it was time to swim under the bridge and damn it felt good! Most of the people were just too terrified of the "cold" +9 degs water but to us it was just perfect way to cool down and prevent the thermal shock... :D After some beautiful and cooling hours we decided to go to another restaurant and eat before we  headed to the bridge museum. :) It was really exciting to be up there and see and listen about the bridge's history! Such a remarkable peace of architecture and art! They had the tiniest doors we had ever seen... :D Even H looked like a giant! :D

Then it was time for another swimming time, the last this summer, if you don't count swimming in a pool. We wanted to enjoy every moment we could before getting to the train station and the most uncomfortable train ride ever... Damn it was hot in there and we couldn't even keep the windows open because of the smoke from fires and some lunatics were even smoking inside the train...! It really was something that annoyed us... :D Smoking indoors... it´s like having pigs eating from the kitchen table. :D The day was so full of enjoyment and action that we all fell asleep in the train. That's a sign of a well spent day :).
